Bullish Trends Forecast Highland Indiana Real Estate

April 28, 2011 by · 1 Comment

Market News

Don’t break out the champagne quite yet, but the Highland Indiana home market may have moved past the low point. Inventory of unsold homes is falling slightly. And the important Days-on-Market has also been declining. While most Sellers focus on the prices, these two trends show us that the market is tightening up.  Fewer homes and shorter time to sell them means that if you are a seller, your competition is not quite as brisk right now as it had been recently. Prices for condo’s and town-homes (black line) had been on a flat plateau for most of2010 began creeping up in January. Single-family homes, (orange line) currently with a median price of $154,450,  are also in a plateau.  However that is almost $15,000 above the point it was in last January. Sometimes no news is good news; flat and boring is just fine.

  1. The featured home of the week for Highland Indiana is definitely a bargain at $85 per square feet. When you factor that the home has a completely finished basement with kitchenette, sounds like a great reason to have guests.
